Monday, 16th May - Princess Alice Hospice, Esher

A few days ago I made a plea on my FB page as I wanted to inject some new ideas into the charity blog (not that I don't love you Big Issue, West Berkshire Alzheimer's Society and British Heart Foundation!). A few people responded with charities that they supported. One was my highly inspirational and amusing friend who got married last week (one of the most memorable wedding receptions I've EVER been to!). She suggested the Princess Alice Hospice saying: "I have been at hospices for work recently and Princess Alice in Esher is a really sweet, nice place", so I sent them a donation tonight. Either I am being blind or you can't make a one-off donation online, so I sent a cheque!

We are a charity and we provide all our specialist end of life care free of charge to our patients, their families and carers. We receive a modest NHS grant but the majority of our income, over 76%, comes from the local communities of Surrey, south west London and Middlesex.

You can make your donation in a number of ways. You can call us with your credit or debit card, you can download and fill in our donation form and send a cheque in the post or you can donate online at Justgiving.

If you are making a donation in memory of a loved one, please make sure you state your loved one's name so we can ensure your gift is properly recorded and acknowledged.

Thank you for your support.
